JLPT / NAT (N5 – N4)

This program prepares students from beginner (N5) to basic working proficiency (N4) in Japanese.

It is ideal for individuals planning to work, study, or train in Japan under approved job and visa pathways.

ABOUT THE LEVELS

N5 – Beginner

Students learn basic grammar, common everyday vocabulary, simple sentences, and listening comprehension.

This stage builds the foundation needed for communication and prepares learners for N4.

N4 – Pre-Intermediate

Students expand their knowledge into practical, everyday Japanese used in common life situations.

Focus areas include grammar patterns, useful expressions, reading comprehension, and stronger listening skills.

JOB & VISA PATHWAYS

Completing N5 and progressing to N4 opens opportunities for:

* Food service and hospitality

* Agriculture

* Caregiving and support roles

* Factory or farm work

* Entry-level positions under SSW visa

* Foundation toward higher-skilled roles

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

* No prior Japanese required for N5

* Basic English or Sinhala helpful

* Students must be motivated to learn and practice

* Age 16+ recommended

* Completion of N5 (or equivalent knowledge) before advancing to N4

PROGRAM OUTCOME

After completing N5–N4, students will:

* Understand daily-use Japanese

* Communicate using basic sentences

* Read simple texts

* Follow instructions in work and daily living

* Be ready to take JLPT/NAT exams and move toward N3
