Skill Tests (Based on Sector-Specific Skills)

Skill Tests are technical exams conducted to evaluate whether applicants possess the necessary
job-specific skills for working in Japan under the SSW visa. Each industry has its own skill test.

Minimal Requirements

• Age 18 and above
• Basic experience or interest in the relevant job sector
• Completion of language requirement (usually N4/JFT)
• Passport
